The underwater diver’s snorkel is not suitable for bifin or monofin swimming. By its eccentric position, it therefore increases the resistance of the water to advancement. The frontal snorkel has a more hydrodynamic position thanks to its position on the forehead and thus minimizes resistance to advancement in the water.
